Strawberry Turnovers-A breakfast Dad and the Kids can make

Hello! This is a super duper easy recipe and would be perfect for dads and kids (kids will need to be supervised because you will need to use the oven and a sharp knife.) Let me put it this way...by the time the oven was preheated we were ready to put these delicious sweeties in the oven.

Here we go...

Strawberry Turnovers

1 sheet of puff pastry thawed
1 can pie filling (any flavor but we chose strawberry)
1/3 C of of powdered sugar
1-2 TBS milk
a little vanilla

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place 1 sheet of puff pastry out and cut into 4 squares. Arrange on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Add the filling to one side of the square. Fold over from point to point. Seal the edges with either a fork or your fingers.  Cut a slit in the top or poke it with a fork. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Meanwhile stir the powdered sugar and milk and vanilla adding more milk and sugar until it reaches the consistency you prefer. Once the pastries are cooled drizzle the glaze over the beauties. Enjoy!

LOVES!!

AWH a little over full. Oh well...still tasty!
